Road Conference 2026 is fast approaching, and we would like to share some important practical information to help you plan your arrival, register and find your way around the event.
Please read the following guidelines carefully, particularly the information on registration and collecting your conference badges, to help ensure the event runs as smoothly as possible.

Registration is located on the ground floor of the Prague Congress Centre (PCC), near main entrances 2 and 3. Registration desks will be clearly marked according to the first letters of participants’ surnames. Upon registration, each participant will receive a name badge and conference materials, or a voucher for collecting them. The participant badge provides access to the conference sessions, exhibition, coffee breaks, lunches and the social evening on 20 October. Please wear your badge visibly throughout the conference.
On the first conference day, interpretation headsets will be available to borrow from a designated desk on the ground floor of the PCC. Headsets will be issued upon scanning the QR code on your conference ticket. Please return them to the same desk after the programme.
All delegates must wear their badge visibly throughout their attendance at the conference.
The badge grants access to all conference and exhibition areas, and acts as a voucher for coffee breaks, lunches, and the social evening.

8:45–9:05 – Official conference opening (Congress Hall – entrance from 1st floor)
11:35–11:55 – Morning coffee break (ZOOM – 1st floor)
13:15 – Opening of the accompanying exhibition and poster sessions (ŘSD stand – 2nd floor)
13:15–14:30 – Lunch (PCC – 4th floor)
16:00–16:30 – Afternoon coffee break (PCC – 4th floor)
from 19:00 – Admission to the social evening (ZOOM – 1st floor)
Wednesday, 21 October – Day Two

Excursions
A selection of interesting technical excursions has been arranged for participants as part of the accompanying programme of the 33rd Road Conference 2026. Exact times are listed in the conference programme.

Excursion – Prague Ring Road, Section 511: Běchovice – Dubeč Tunnel
Wednesday, 21 October 2026
Excursion to the Šmejkalka Bridge Excursion through the LESY ČZU forest estate, conducted in Czech and English. The excursion will conclude at Kostelec nad Cgernými lesy Castle, with refreshments and a tour of its historic rooms.
Registration for excursions is available via the Google Form and subsequently through the conference app.
Places on individual excursions are limited, so we recommend registering well in advance. Shortly before their excursion, all registered participants will receive detailed instructions by email, including the exact departure time, meeting point and other important information. These will be sent to the email address provided during registration. Please check your email inbox before your excursion.
Transport and parking
Parking is available in the PCC underground garages and other designated parking areas. The venue is also easily accessible from Vyšehrad metro station.
Indicative parking rates: CZK 50 per hour, up to CZK 550 for 24 hours, and approximately CZK 20 for each additional hour after the first 24 hours.

On-street parking zones apply in the surrounding streets. Further parking is available, for example, at the Arkády Pankrác shopping centre.

Metro: Line C, Vyšehrad station, approximately a 2–3-minute walk.
Tram: Pražského povstání or Vyšehrad stops, both within walking distance.
